DAY 1 - Cochin / Kochi to Kumarakom 

Pickup from Kochi Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station. Transfer to Kumarakom. Check in at the hotel. You can relax and refresh from the long journey for the rest of the day.

Kumarakom is widely known as the ‘Queen of Vembanad’. This quaint hamlet is situated on the banks of the river Vembanad. It is dotted with heritage resorts and homestays. You should visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary with its undulating rivulets, streams and waterways. The charming Vembanad Lake with its surrounding Mangrove forests and paddy fields is the best place to watch the birds inside the sanctuary. The bird sanctuary is the home of a large and wide variety of species of birds. Kumarakom is also famous as the major backwater destination. An enthralling house boat cruise through the brackish backwaters is a must to do activity, if you are here. You can enjoy wildlife Photography at Pathiramanal, the island nearby. You can also stroll through Kottayam the nearby town which is noted for its rubber plantations and majestic churches.

DAY 2 - Kumarakom To Alappuzha / Alleppey

After breakfast check out from Kumarakom hotel and moves to Alleppey, the panoramic backwater destination. In fact, backwaters are the prime attraction of this tourist place. Board your traditional houseboat here to enjoy a delightful cruise experience. Enjoy an overnight stay in your houseboat and taste a wide range of tasty cuisines. It must be a wonderful experience for the travelers to spend a night in the houseboat. These thatch-roofed traditional houseboats are locally known as kettuvallams or the ‘boat with knots’. You can check out from the houseboat after breakfast. You will be taken to Kovalam which is a 4 hours drive. Check in at the hotel in Kovalam. Spend the evening enjoying at the Kovalam beach.

DAY 4 - Trivandrum Sightseeing

Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Trivandrum after breakfast- Trivandrum, is an ancient city with tradition dating back to 1000 BC. This capital city of Kerala is a beautiful seaside metropolis built on seven hills. It is located on the west coast of India spreading over a total area of 2,192 sq.km. Trivandrum sightseeing tour is comprehensive with the visits to Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Thiruvananthapuram Zoo.

DAY 5 - Kovalam to Cochin 

Check-out your resort in Kovalam and drive to Cochin. Try to enjoy a short Kochi city tour if your time permits. As a vibrant city with many boutique shops and malls, it is exciting to explore this lovely port city. You can meet a KSU representative at Cochin/Kochi Airport or Ernakulam railway station to provide support for your onward journey.
